Two Fuel-Efficient Powertrain Options

The new Maverick offers drivers their choice of three trims—the Maverick base XL, Maverick XLT, and Maverick Lariat (Lariat Special Edition also available). All three are built with the powerful new 2.5L FHEV hybrid engine, a PowerSplit:Electronic Continuously Variable Transmission, and a Front-wheel Drivetrain.

To up the power supply, all three also give you the option of a 2.0L EcoBoost® engine, an 8- speed automatic transmission, and available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive that connects the torque to all four wheels for better traction and handling on the road.

An optional Trailer Tow Package is available with the EcoBoost engine and Intelligent All-wheel Drive system, outfitting your Maverick to put that 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque to work towing trailers, boats, ATVs, and more.
