Small, but Exciting Changes for the 2023 Bronco SUV

In its third production year, the 2023 Bronco continues to deliver outstanding off-road performance and roomy and fun daily driving. The exciting changes to the 2023 model-year Bronco include new trims, like the Heritage, Heritage Limited, and Everglades with new exterior and interior styling features.

The compact SUV is larger than most and comes in several configurations with two doors and seating for four or four doors with seating for five. All Bronco SUVs have capable four-wheel drive designed for off-road adventures, and they all have removable doors and a removable top. We invite you to Rountree Moore Ford near Five Points, Florida to order your 2023 Bronco with the performance, styling, and capability you want.

Engine Choices for Daily Driving and Off-Road Joy

The 2023 Bronco is available with several engine choices. The standard engine in the Base trim is a 2.3-liter inline-four-cylinder EcoBoost turbocharged engine that delivers 300 HP. Other engine choices include a twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost with 330 horsepower and a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 EcoBoost engine with 418 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. The only model with the 3.0-liter V6 is the well-equipped Raptor trim

The four-cylinder engine comes standard with a seven-speed manual and available 10-speed automatic transmission. The other engines come standard with the 10-speed automatic.

Because the Bronco is designed for off-roading, it comes with several standard features for rocks, sand, and mud. The independent front axle and solid-rear axle give riders comfort on rough terrain. Most models also come with the G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Terrain) mode options that adjust the ride for Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Sand. Ford also includes locking differentials, skid plates, sway bars, and low-speed cruise control.

Drivers who plan to use their Bronco for trails and rocks will enjoy the Sasquatch package with 11.6 inches of ground clearance, massive 35-inch tires, and a substantial lift. The Bronco Raptor has 37-inch tires and 13.1 inches of ground clearance.

A less expensive and extremely capable trim is the Black Diamond trim with vinyl upholstery for playing in the mud. It also has rubberized flooring with drain plugs, steel bumpers, and a Rock Crawl mode.

Standard Driver-Assistive Features

All 2023 Ford Bronco configurations include the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of driver-assistive features. They include LED headlights with Automatic High Beams, Forward Collision Warning, Pedestrian Detection, a Rearview Camera, and Forward Automatic Emergency Braking. Drivers who choose the Big Bend trim can add more safety features that include Rear Parking Sensors, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, and Lane Keep Assist.

Buyers who move to the Outer Banks trim can add available a Surround-View Parking Camera System, Front Parking Sensors, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

High-Tech Interior Features

Ford also loads all Bronco SUV trim levels with plenty of impressive technology features. The standard 8.0-inch touchscreen includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Drivers enjoy six speakers, four USB ports, and an 8.0-inch digital cluster with an analog speedometer in the retro-styled, modern SUV. The Base trim also has remote keyless entry, push-button start, and remote start.

Drivers who choose the Big Bend get available navigation, 32-inch all-terrain tires, and an impressive Mud and Ruts traction control mode.

Styling and Cargo Space for Off-Roading Playtime

The Base trim has cloth seats with front seats with manual adjustability. This trim has 16-inch steel wheels covered with 30-inch all-season tires. A full-size spare sits on the back hatch door. Ford builds the Bronco for adult playtime, so the cargo space matters.

The two-door models have 22.4 cubic feet with the rear seats upright and 52.3 cubic feet with the rear seats lowered. The larger four-door models have 35.6 and 77.6 cubic feet respectively. Replacing the hard top with a soft top increases the cargo space to 38 and 83 cubic feet.

For comparison, the smaller Baby Bronco - the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport - has between 29.4 to 65.2 cubic feet of cargo space depending on seating configurations and trim levels.

Drivers who want leather-trimmed seating can get it in the Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and Raptor trims. Most of those trims also have an available leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel. Shoppers can add packages with heated front seats.
