It's a story that happens every day of every year. How do I pay for gas when I need to buy some medicine, or food? No one should ever have to make that kind of hard decision. And face it, fuel prices aren't going to go back down to the days when it was easy to purchase gas on a tight budget. There are some things you can do to help yourself.

Drive your car at times of the day when the traffic is light. Rush hour is the time of day when most gas is used by people. Much more fuel is used by people sitting in traffic, and at traffic lights than any other time. This can be a huge fuel saver.

Keep your engine maintained with the proper oil that will reduce engine friction. This will reduce fuel consumption. And, less fuel used means more money saved.
